Jfbchat 0.2.1 released!

The new version of Jfbchat is ready! you can download it here.

What is new ?

Many GUI problems were fixed, in the chatframe and in the LoginPanel, we also improved the aspect in some details.

An "Edit" menu on the chatframe was added and the core was improved, now the connection to the server is faster.

A critical bug was fixed in the contact list, we reccomend to update as soon possible.

We expect many changes for the version 0.2.2, mostly in the GUI.

Incoming Jfbchat 0.2.1!

Hello everybody, good news for you.

The new version of Jfbchat (0.2.1) should be released the next weekend with some important improvements.

Jfbchat 0.2.1 will be more stable and faster due of many bugfixs and code improvement.

The problem with the collapse/uncollapse button was fixed, some contacts disappear after that this one was pressed.

Many other improvements were done on the graphical interface in order to make the usage more intuitive.

We recommend to update Jfbchat as soon as the application is released.

Jfbchat 0.2.0 was relase today with a lot of news. First of all is now possible to sort contacts in groups , we are planning a search bar for contacts for the next release.

It's also possible to see the profile photo of your friends both in the contact list and in the chat window.

A cool sound is now played for incoming and outcoming messages and another important feature is the new preference window where you can configure some options of the client.

The chat is growing really fast, we are working on a lot of new iteressant features like groups and avatar images that are surely the most importants of them.

The release is planned for the end of march, you can download the source from our svn if you want to have a preview.
